From Boat to Brewery – A Coastal Journey

Come experience an unforgettable coastal adventure in Prince Edward Island.

This half day adventure is an all inclusive 3 1/2 to 4 hour discovery tour. We depart the historic port of Georgetown where we haul a lobster trap, a rock crab pot and a mussel sock, giving you an educational overview of each industry that is so important to our PEI economy. Then we head out to the coastal region serving up hot fresh PEI blue mussels with French breads, once there we swing by PEI’s oldest wooden lighthouse “Panmure Island Head Lighthouse” There will be an opportunity here to get a pic with the lighthouse as the backdrop for nice photos. Heading west now we visit the local seal herd, we have a swim raft out for our seals to sunbathe, we can get very close most days, again a great photo op here. As we continue heading west we leave the coastal region and Georgetown Harbour behind making our way now up the beautiful Montaque River system. Lots of birds to see as we go including the American Bald Eagle. We have high powered binoculars on board. Once we tie up at the Montaque Marina we disembark and walk up to a local craft beer pub where we have a nice meal and beer samplings. Lots of time to enjoy yourselves here. After we finish up at the brewery we walk back to the boat and head East down the river to the Georgetown dock. Please allow some time after the tour to discover our small beautiful Town. We have lots of gift shops, live theatre playhouse, restaurants and general store. It’s a nice little walking Town. My daughter owns Georgetown Inn if you would like to stay overnight.

Special requirements

– There is a 10 minute walk involved here from the boat to the local Craft Beer locations.
– Participants under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult.
